Paddy the Dancing Granny

I am sure many of you have seen this clip on FB recently.

I am such a sucker for a good YouTube video and often run with my phone to find The Boyf yelling, "you HAVE to watch this! No, I swear this clip is the best one EVER!" and I say that every time.

But....this amazing granny is worth the watch.

Un-fucking-believable right? The dips, the lifts, the gasps from the audience.

I just hope I have legs like that when I'm 79.

Jiving Granny

I saw a patient a few weeks ago. She was 93 and quite demented and had fallen. It was really difficult to get any kind of history out of her and so I headed to the computer to look at her old notes from a year ago...and this is what I found...


"92 year old female was found in her flat with her ethanolic friend at 2 am. They were dancing to Robbie Williams, when the patient fell backwards over her Zimmerframe..."

The most horrific thing happened to me yesterday..........





I found a grey hair!




On MY head.....







shock SHOCK, horror Horror!



I was in so much shock, I just stared at it in the mirror. Eventually I plucked it from my crown. I examined it closely. It could be a VERY blonde hair! A very blonde hair...........couldn't it?

I spent the rest of the day pondering my life. The grey hair signified how short it could be. I was OLD! And unmarried! With no children! And no car! And no permanent job!


So from now on I shall be Granny Medic!
